Tangkoko Nature Reserve Trek

Tangkoko Nature Reserve is normally trekked either early in the morning in search of the Black Tailless Crested Macaques, Sulawesi Red-knobbed hornbills, and sulawesi bear cuscus as well as other fauna specific to the reserve or before dusk time which is specially targeted to see the Spectral Tarsiers, the smallest primate in the world as well as other nocturnal animals.

TREKKING 3 DAYS 2 NIGHTS

Day 1

Pick-up at the airport Sam-ratulangi and then driving to the Tangkoko Nature Reserve within 2 hours and take a dinner. Overnight at our Guesthouse

Day 2

After breakfast, full day trek into the park and see the animals such as Spectral Tarsier, Sulawesi Black Macaque, and Bear Cuscus. Overnight at our Guesthouse

Day 3

After breakfast, driving to the airport or your next destination

Tangkoko Birding

Green-backed Kingfisher, Lilac-cheek Kingfisher, Sulawesi-dwarf Kingfisher, Red-knobbed Hornbill, Sulawesi-dwarf Hornbill, Ashy Woodpecker, Yellow-billed malkoha, Purple-winged Roller, Sulawesi Pitta, ochre-bellied Boobook, Sulawesi Babbler, Red-backed Thrush, and much more.

Come back to the Homestay for breakfast. And then we will continue the tour to spotted some birds where you not seen it on the day 2.Come back for lunch, after lunch around 2pm, we will go to the mangrove area by boat to spotted one of the kingfisher, Great (black)-billed Kingfisher and some birds such as: White-rumped Cuckoo-shrike, Pink-necked green Pigeon, Whimbrel, Grey-tailed tattler, etc
